Density

Density (symbol: p = Greek letter 'rho') is a measure of mass per unit of volume. The higher an object's density, the higher is its mass per volume. The average density of an object equals its total mass divided by its total volume.

Practical relevance: Gas density (in addition to viscosity) is an important factor in the resistance to breathing different inspired gases.
